Madrid is a great tourist destination and has several worthy spots for spending your vacation. Another major attraction of Madrid is the numerous plazas that are spread across the city.

Plaza Mayor:

Located at the centre of the Madrid city, this is supposed to be the grand square. The architectural beauty of this plaza is truly outstanding and will leave you spellbound. Besides this, the place is popular for meeting. This place bustles with activities, as many people, including tourists and other locals gather around this square to have fun and merriment. They dance, sing and have a great evening watching the wonderful performances that is in store for them.

Plaza de la Cibeles

This is the most fascinating plaza of entire Madrid and has a pleasant architecture. You will also be witnessing a beautiful statue of Goddess Cibeles placed at this plaza that adds charm to the entire building. It’s centrally located near the Spanish Royal office for mail.

Plaza Santa Ana

Though not a very beautiful structure, yet the place, as such, provides for a quiet and peaceful ambience. This is a place where you could spend your evenings amidst dance and music. You could also get some local food from the restaurants found near this place.

Plaza de Toros de las Ventas

The unique architectural beauty makes this place a must visit for the tourists. This is where you will get to see the rings for the famous bull fights. There are several arrangements made here for the tourists to take a guided tour inside the plaza. However, this is done only when there is no bull fight taking place inside the plaza.

Santiago Bernabéu

This is where the real soccer game takes place and is a must see for the soccer fans. The place can be reached by metro from Santiago Bernabéu. You could get a glimpse of the inside only if you have a ticket.
