Giacomo Mattioli, President of Ferrari Maserati Beverly Hills and Ferrari Maserati Silicon Valley, is happy to announce the creation of Scuderia Corsa, a racing team with the aim to support clients’ racing needs. Scuderia Corsa is a new team formed by Ferrari Beverly Hills, Ferrari Silicon Valley and R3 Motorsports. The new Scuderia Corsa, official racing team for Ferrari Beverly Hills and Silicon Valley, will be based in Los Angeles, in a state-of-the-art shop that features both modern and classic methods of fabrication (such as CNC tooling and hand fabrication). Scuderia Corsa will be specialized in three different programs: the Ferrari Challenge, the Endurance GT racing and lastly, in track events. The Ferrari Challenge Series has been giving Ferrari owners the opportunity to enjoy the finest tracks while sharing both competition and the social aspects of the series with fellow Ferrari owners, in Ferrari’s natural environment, which is the race track. Like its predecessor, Scuderia Corsa will continue to provide clients with a complete support in every aspect of racing and will continue to follow a long-standing tradition of support for “gentlemen racers” to pursuit an exhilarating and enjoyable experience. It will also be providing design and constructions services, thanks to their solid background in research and engineering. Besides the Ferrari Challenge Series, Scuderia Corsa will be involved in Ferrari 458 GT3 Endurance races. Scuderia Corsa will be collaborating with Vittoria Competizioni, a European partner, based in Maranello. This program is designed for the most experienced ClientiSportivi and allows them to be part of the unique experience of racing in the GT3 class worldwide. Scuderia Corsa will be participating to the 50th Anniversary Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 28-29, in collaboration with RisiCompetizione and American Canadian Racing. Scuderia Corsa, in collaboration with Ferrari North America, will allow Ferrari Beverly Hills and Silicon Valley clients to experience a very unique VIP hospitality from where they can enjoy spectacular views on the track. Besides the Ferrari Challenge Series and the Ferrari 458 GT3 Endurance races, Scuderia Corsa is planning to organize special track events throughout 2012. These events will be for Ferrari Beverly Hills and Ferrari Silicon Valley clients who wish to challenge themselves under a controlled racing environment. The Ferrari track events for clients will be held at local circuits such as Willow Springs, Button Willow and WSIR. The track events are planned to start in March and end in October.
