My Tryst With Toronto

Until last year, whenever I thought of Toronto, the only thing that came to my mind was cricket and other sporting events that take place in the city. But now, the list has a few add-ons. How? Well, all thanks to my friend who told me about the amazing experiences and offerings of the place. He and his family had gone on a short trip to Toronto post that they recommended the same to us. After much persuasion from them, we too decided to take off to Toronto and hence started on this trip.

To tell you honestly, the main reason why my family was so excited about the visit was due to excessive praising of hot tub service by my friend and his wife. According to them, hot tubs in Toronto were amongst the best one can find and the experience is just unmatched when compared to any spa or rejuvenation treatment. Initially, the idea seemed bizarre, what could hot tubs in Toronto have which was so special that no other hot tubs had? However, given the constant persuasion, we were intrigued to go and try it out ourselves.

Since we were really not completely convinced about how good it will feel, we decided to keep the trip very short and pointed. Therefore, we had just one night to spare at the hotel and were planning to go back the very next day.

After checking in and settling down in the rooms, we called up the desk to find out if their hot tub service was available at that time. As we got a yes in answer, we started towards the section. To my amazement, for that time of the evening, the place seemed quite crowded and bustling with activity. However, after waiting in the queue for sometime we were allowed in a family size hot tub. From the time we stepped inside the room, the ambience, lights and the complete setting just held our fascination. The aroma of fresh fruits and berries suddenly made us feel light. It was like stepping into an entirely new world. Peace and tranquility all around the room really impressed my family and me.

Finally, we stepped into the tub. There were herbs, flowers, and bubbles in the tub. My friend had talked about it while narrating his experience and said that this is the best part. The natural herbs are magical when it comes to rejuvenating your senses, and I knew why my friend and his wife were going all over talking about this experience. Just five minutes into the tub, my family and me were immersed in it so much that we all were hoping it never ends. It just occurred to me then that we had a flight next morning and with much reluctance, we pushed ourselves out of the tub. Only promising ourselves that we will be back again.
