Yamaha launched Yamaha YZF R125 in oversees market in 2008 and its main inspiration behind it since then is to make it number 1 sports bike in 125cc bike market. The bike shares some common features with other Yamaha R series bikes.

Design:
The Yamaha YZF R125 is aggressive in design and has got dual headlamps making a sharp nose look for the bike. The R125 comes with fair amount of covering on engine department similarly like other R series models from Yamaha bikes. The dashboard in bike consist a speedometer, fuel gauge, trip meter, low oil and low fuel indicators. Bikes overall design is eye catching, it gives a sporty look on passing by and its alloy wheels add more to its beauty from ground level.

Yamaha YZF R125 engine performance and fuel efficiency:
YZF R 125 is powered by a 124.6cc engine which is single cylinder liquid cooled four valve four stroke engine. The engine type is fuel injected and produces a max power level of 15PS at 9000RPM and also a max torque level of 12.2NM at 8000RPM. Fuel injection system is used to ...
... enhance fuel efficiency of bike. The YZF R125 has got 6 speed transmissions with a promise of better control and handling. Yamaha claims the bike’s top speed is 135Kmph.

As it is a bike of sports class and is engineered to let its riders know how speed tastes but keeping fuel efficiency is also equally important. Yamaha YZF R125 is claimed to deliver 40Kmpl in standard conditions. With such large parts and power and wheelbase of 1355mm 40Kmpl is always a good offer to accept.

Braking and suspension:
Yamaha YZF R125 has got breaking system designed to halt instantly. The front brake is two piston 292 mm discs and single piston 230 mm is its rear brake. Along with immense breaking power there requires a good suspension to absorb sudden shocks that come in contact in the form of speed breakers or any mud holes, so YZF R125 has front telescopic type with wheel travel of 130mm suspension. The rear suspension is mono cross with swing arm technology. Rear suspension is hardly seen to maintain looks of bike.

Conclusion:
Yamaha YZF R125 is a sports bike designed for max of 2 riders at a time. Bike height is normal and everyone can comfortably ride it and rock the streets. Overall it’s a good bike to buy and best for those who love speed. Yamaha YZF R125 price on road is around 91000INR*
