Do you remember your childhood days at the local arcade? How many quarters did you anxiously jam down the slot to get a little bit further in Donkey Kong or Super Mario Bros.?

Those were pretty good times for you and for the video game industry. You could play a game utilizing the latest technology for a bit of your lunch money, while the industry could throw a few pixels on a screen and rake in said lunch money. Times have certainly changed though. The old arcades have fallen into a state of disrepair, as new games just aren't being made to cater to their genre. You also won't be able to play the newest games for a piece of your lunch money either. It's more like part of a second mortgage to pay for all of the expensive gear to even be able to run the newest games. Doesn't it just make you pine for the old classics in the arcade?

In the end, it really just comes down to your basic convenience in getting your game on. You are now able to play all of the old games you loved without spending an arm and a leg. Playing games online is going to be a lot cheaper than any of the games you can expect to find today, but you should still get a classic thrill from the experience.
