One of the latest and unique among survivor books that have been written by debutant author Chamed and translated in to English by Beniamino Soressi, My Heart Stopped Beating- Survivor is a heartbreaking autobiographical novel.

Written in the background of a mental asylum and an adaptive family in Italy, the story reveals some horrifying and bewildering crimes that occurred in the asylum about three decades ago.
