The Beginning

Raptors got their name, color, and logo through a nationwide contest. The name selected was after the popularity of the movie Jurassic Park. Carter was traded for Chris Bosch, as there was no significant progress in the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons, but the team still struggled. 2006-07 season saw Bryan Colangelo appointed as the General Manager, who revamped the roster. The team qualifying for the first playoff berth in five years also won the first division title. Community Service
