Education is a disciplined attempt towards gaining knowledge of fundamental principles about humankind. Moreover, the central plan behind value education is to nurture important morals in the students, in order that the civilization that educates us to handle difficulties can be continued and further developed. It begins at home and it is sustained in schools. Everybody accepts certain things in his/her life through a variety of means like from people or else government.

Value education is important to help everyone in improving the value system that he/she holds and put them to use. Once, we understand our principles in life, we can examine and control the various choices we make in our lives. It’s our duty to uphold the various types of ethics in life, such as cultural, universal, personal and social values.

Thus, School education project is always essential to shape a student’s life and to give him an opportunity of performing himself on the global stage. The need for it among the parents, children, teachers etc, is constantly increasing, as we continue to witness increasing violent activities, behavioral ...
... disorder and lack of unity in society.

The family system in India has a long tradition of imparting value education right from the ancient practice of the gurukul system. But with modern developments and a fast changing role of the parents, it has not been very easy for the parents to impart relevant morals in their wards. Therefore, many institutes today conduct various Child care programme that meet the rising needs of modern society, with code of conduct and principles. These activities concentrate on the child welfare etc. focusing on areas like happiness, humility, cooperation, honesty, simplicity, love, unity, peace etc.

The Value Education on Age Care programme's major focus is to sensitize school children on ageing problems early in life; hence they take care of elderly with love and concern and are aware of their problems in detail."

SAVE (Student Action for Value Education) programme is designed to:
Inculcate morals of care & regard for the elderly in school going kids.
Prepare today’s kids & youth for their old age.
Create an age friendly world.
