When a vehicle moves on an uneven road it experiences shocks. These shocks are uncomfortable for passengers and can also damage some parts of the vehicle. There are devices that minimize the effect of the shocks. There is shock absorber which as the name itself suggests absorbs the shocks and limits the up and down movement of the vehicle. It is a cylinder with a piston inside and oil at one end. The piston moves when the vehicle goes over a bump and the oil provides the damping action. In some vehicles coil springs are used for the same purpose, but they do it by spring action instead of the damping action. Coil over is a suspension device that combines the shock absorber and coil spring in one unit. In this unit the coil spring surrounds the shock absorber. One end of the coil over is mounted to the axle or suspension and the other to the chassis. In some coilovers there is provision for adjusting the ride height and the stiffness. Coilovers are now quite popular as an aftermarket product.

No doubt the coilover make the ride ...
... on a bumpy road more comfortable, but what is more important is that the vehicle should be safe. There are many safety features in a vehicle for safe driving. Brakes are one of the most important safety feature and brake rotors are its important component. When the driver presses the brake pedal the brake pads clamp upon the brake rotors to stop the wheels of the vehicle. The friction between the brake pads and the brake rotors causes the wheels to stop. After some use there is wear and tear and their may not be enough friction between the two and the braking system may not function efficiently. The braking system including the brake rotors should therefore be periodically checked and if any deficiency is found in the functioning of brake rotors they need to be replaced. There are different types of brake rotors available in the market and you can have them to replace your existing brake rotor if it not functioning well, or just to upgrade your braking system.
