Freedom From Obsessive Eating
One needs great effort to cease the uncontrollable craving for food. Therefore, develop your fighting skills to conquer compulsive actions. This battle is for liberation; deny failure. You can feel ardent emotions and resolve not to give in. Command yourself, \"I refuse to surrender. I refuse to give in. I refuse to be defeated.\" During the emotional windstorms caused by enticement, inquire of yourself, what do I really want? Eating to unwind is not your goal. What you really need is to be at peace. You do not want to eat because you are annoyed. You need to resolve the issue. You do not want to eat simply because you are afraid. What you really want is the strength to address it. Eating because of boredom is not what you want What you desire is, a challenge that will stir excitement within you. Avoid fighting with obsessive thoughts, but turn them into empowering thoughts and rewarding activities. Schedule mini-breaks to shift your mood and break cycles of obsessive thinking. Do something you enjoy for a few minutes until the emotions ebb. Listen to music, get some exercise, take a brisk walk, or take up yoga. Not only ...

Affirm to yourself that junk food is false pleasure. If you do not nurture a craving, it will stop. If you become disturbed, take a slow, deep breath, holding for one second, and exhale, think serene. Create the feeling of revulsion until you are sickened: screeching wheels in a sudden stop, or a hair in your soup, Picture an image that suits you. Use negative tagging. Chips are flavored pieces of unhealthy oils and fats. Create your own negative labels for the foods you are moving away from. Use this mental routine to the end; look at the whole picture. Do not concentrate just on the pleasure, but rather be conscious of all the unwanted possibilities. When you focus yourself, you feel as though you had lost something, and feel cheated. Overcome that feeling with the fact that you have what it takes to be happy. Challenge the feeling of loss. Remember the unhealthy qualities of the food you abhor. Do not eat them. Steer away from triggers like fast food outlets and donut stores. Avoid spending time in the kitchen or at the dinner table when you start to feel tempted. Your meals must be planned. Have fruits or vegetables snacks ready. The toughest days are the first few. If you are out of it and feel weak, it will be challenging to control your thoughts. Managing direction requires work, and toxic feelings lead to an irresponsible attitude. It will pass once the blood clears of toxins Do the best you can during these times to remain resolute.
