High intensity strobe lights prove to be of great importance for emergency vehicles either on rescue and search missions or patrolling the highways. There are strobes which differ from each other drastically, but are all equally useful. Strobes vary based on their power wattage rating which in turn depends on the number of LEDs that are configured together. In LED strobes you will see a split array arrangement of several LEDs installed together and covered with a transparent clear or coloured dome that provides wide angle optics and also encapsulation to the LEDs. Most strobes make use of dozens of 1Watt LED elements either in white or in blue, red, green and amber. Multi-coloured strobes have their own set of advantages too.

Strobe lights come with a field replaceable circuit board making use of solid state electronics. There is no need of external controller or flasher and the ruggedness of the circuit ensures that you can use the strobes in all conditions. The current drain of the strobes is extremely low owing to the low energy consumption and requirements for LEDs. The strobes usually come with a polycarbonate ...
... base along with a replaceable pipe mounting option to hold the strobes steadily. The encapsulation and rigid base make sure that the strobes are both vibration as well as weather resistant. Operating between voltages of 10 - 30V DC, these strobes are energy efficient without really compromising on the quality of light. The high intensity strobes usually have 50 - 100 LEDs aligned in arrays to provide unidirectional lighting.

You can go for low profile strobe lights which are rugged and robust and come with cigarette lighter plug, a switch panel with switches for operational ease and built in flash patterns. No scratch magnetic mounting is available for beacons and standalone strobes. The magnets which have a combined pull in excess of 60lbs come with no-scratch pads and are ideal for temporary mounting of the standalone strobes. High intensity strobes can also be mounted atop light bars, with a desirable orientation and adjustable height, in order to get the best possible visibility. Strobes can provide excellent lighting visibility even in bad weather conditions.

Strobe lights come with impact resistant domes and toughened polycarbonate lenses which gives you ample advantage as far as handling heavy duty usage is concerned. There are lenses in multiple colours too, which allows you to use multi-coloured beams to get the desired flashing effects to grab the attention of other motorists. There is intensity control feature too in advanced strobes which actually lets you go for low intensity and high intensity modes depending upon the requirement at any stage. With low intensity lighting you can conserve energy at times. The easily replaceable lenses along with optic spreader filters give the strobes excellent effectiveness in terms of providing emergency lighting. Some strobes come with standard black bezels and optional chrome bezels. Normal strobes with just 3 - 4 1 Watt LED elements can give a lighting output of around 20 - 140 lumens along with a high intensity level.
