People look at the prices for a limo service in Philadelphia and they get a little confused. One quote might be for $85 while another quote could be as much as $600. Why is there such a discrepancy? The reason for the different prices is based on many variables.

Purpose

The first thing to consider when looking at a limo service in Philadelphia is the reason for service. For instance, hiring a limo to transport customers from an airport to an office is much different from hiring a decorated limo for a wedding party. Along with the purpose, the demand for the limo service at that point in time plays a role in the price. During the spring and summer, when proms and weddings are so common, prices for a limo can be much higher.

Type of Vehicle

Older, smaller limos are normally much cheaper to rent compared to newer vehicles. Asking for a brand new, or nearly new, vehicle will always command a higher price.

Vehicle Size

When you are looking for limo service in Philadelphia the size of ...
... the vehicle will also play a role in determining the price. For instance, the vehicle needed to take four people out on a night would be much less expensive than a vehicle needed to transport 15 people.

Available Services

The type of services that you wish to have in the limo can drive up the price significantly. If you merely need a sedan that is comfortable to get you to your destination then the charge will be quite low. However, if you wish to have a wet bar, television, high-tech sound system, DVD player and multiple photos of the event, then the price will rise with the increase in services.

Should you choose the cheapest service?

When people learn about the different prices for a limo service in Philadelphia they erroneously think about simply going with the lowest estimate. However, that is usually not a good idea. The cheapest price can come with some drawbacks. For instance, the chauffeurs may not have the correct license for the type of vehicle in use. This could put you and your friends in danger. The vehicle may be in need of major service or repair. Or the vehicle could be outdated, which means you won’t be arriving in style. Worst of all, the cheapest priced limo may come with the worst service. Cars that show up late, rude drivers and getting a vehicle completely different from your expectations are quite common among the low priced limo agencies.

Before you invest time and money on a limo service in Philadelphia, take the time to understand your needs and the situation. Be aware of the seasonal demand for this type of service as well as why you need the limo. Entering in to the agreement with the facts and the right frame of mind will help you to see that you are really getting a good value for your money.
