Contact The Other Side Of The World As Easily As The Other Side Of Town With Bt
There are a large number of landline service providers jostling for customers throughout the UK, with brand giants such as Virgin Media, Sky, O2 and BT each attempting to offer the most comprehensive customer service along with the lowest prices possible. As the oldest and best-established telecoms business in the country, BT is in a position to offer potential customers the highest-quality deals possible.
As well as offering three single landline-only deals which offer varying amounts of inclusive UK calls depending on how much you are likely to use the landline, there are also a number of deals that combine BT Home Phone services with broadband and television services which are intended to save bill-payers money – rather than having to pay three different bills every month, a bundle of two or more services will work out so less has to be spent. For example, the Broadband and Anytime Calls package combines broadband with speeds of up to 20MB with unlimited landline calls to UK numbers, with the first 4 months of an 18 month contract available for free. The TV Essential, Broadband and Anytime Calls deal is almost ...
... identical but includes access to catch-up and on-demand television, including the ability to access BBC iPlayer through your television set.
The trap that many people fall into with regard to staying in contact is the huge costs that can inadvertently incurred by calling other countries. BT are aware of this, and offer two pricing plans which can both be added to your bill on an extra charge on a monthly basis, so you only need to pay when you know you're going to need the service. The first, Friends and Family International, offers discounted BT international call rates to 234 destinations is ideal if you only make the odd call to a relative or friend living abroad. The second, International Freedom, is more suited to people making a lot of calls to other countries for business. It offers inclusive calls to over thirty countries including China, Australia and the USA, as well as discounted calls to nearly 200 other nations.
The company also offer a wide variety of special features to help you make the most of your BT home phone service. Three come included when you commit to any of the twelve month deals – Caller ID so you can screen the calls from people you can't be bothered to talk to, voicemail so you can call back the people you do want to talk to and the 1471 service so you can check the phone number of the last person who called you. There are five other features which are also available for an extra fee, including call waiting, call barring and call diverting.
BT really do everything possible in order to make their customers happy and keep them renewing their landline contracts for as long as possible. The individual deals and their features would ordinarily be enough, but they go the extra mile with BT international call rates to ensure that their customers never pay more than they need to.
