Led Grille Light – Extraordinary Lighting At Economical Prices
LED grille light is popular because of certain characteristic features of the light emitting diodes. Firstly, LEDs are known for their energy efficiency, consuming far less energy compared to contemporary light sources for the same amount of luminosity. Secondly, LEDs dissipate far less heat energy which not only reduces energy wastage but also allows you to operate them for longer hours. Lastly, LEDs are extremely small in size which allows you greater freedom when it comes to mounting the LED light heads. A great example of that is offered by grille, visor, dash and deck lights. All of these are quite small, sometimes measuring just a few inches. They are extremely lightweight which makes them easy to install or mount.
There is an interesting design aspect that makes LED grille light very effective. The arrangement of LEDs plays a vital role in how bright or powerful the warning signal is. Sometimes, the LEDs are stacked as arrays, with multiple colours of LEDs in different rows. In some cases, the LEDs are arranged in concentric circles, an arrangement which provides bright and focussed lighting within ...
... a very small diameter. Thus, you can choose between slim, rectangular grille lights or circular models depending upon your preference. Importantly these grille lights have a depth of less than 0.5 inches in some cases with a diameter of 3 – 4 inches. The powerful light heads can be mounted in the composite headlamps as well through 1 inch mounting holes.
Whether the LED grille light is mounted close to the bumper or grille or inside the composite headlamp, they remain stable, without creating a rattling sound. Besides, the encapsulation and the polycarbonate base make the light heads resistant to moisture as well as vibration, which can be expected on speeding vehicles. Anodized aluminium platforms are sometimes used for additional rigidity. The waterproof design of the light heads makes sure that neither rain nor water splashed from the ground gets inside the equipment or affects the LEDs. The high impact plastic domes are UV resistant, can be easily cleaned and are smooth enough to prevent accumulation of dust and dirt. The maintenance free LED light heads can be mounted with a 3-wire hook-up and mounting screws.
Whether you use rectangular grille lights or circular models, you will be impressed by the compactness which doesn’t take a toll on the intensity. Individual LEDs can be replaced by just removing the dome and that doesn’t affect the functioning of the entire light head. Moreover, the circular and rectangular LED grille light models come with dual coloured LEDs which can flash in a wide variety of patterns. Alternate blinking, random blinking and mega bursts make sure that the warning signal goes far and wide. Besides, the lenses used make sure that the dispersion is kept to a minimum and the clarity remains optimum. The bright lighting output proves to be exceptionally effective in all weather conditions. Sometimes, you could stack as many as 56 wide angle LEDs, in a split array arrangement, within a diameter of 4 inches.
