The Right Fonts, Effects And Images For The Right Architecture Logo Designs
Are you a new business owner of an architectural firm and don’t know how to create your company trademark?
Don’t know which fonts, colors and effects would be appropriate for your architecture logo designs to be appealing to customers?
Then you’ve come to the right place.
A logo is the most important part of a brand image. Since it is the first thing that the customer notices about your corporation, it is extremely important that it portrays the right image.
Since architecture is a profession that constantly challenges’ one’s creativity and originality, it is important that the same should be reflected in the company trademark so that the customers may have a sample of your work creativity through your business image.
What font styles to use?
If you are using your company name initials in your business trade mark then big and curvy font styles, like curlz MT and Brush script should be used as that would make the design look creative and surreal. But for the company name ...
... in the business image, fonts with more angles and straightness should be used, preferably in a darker color like black or dark blue so that the design looks more professional and proficient. Some font styles that can be used are Bodoni MT, infinite justice straight and Arial black.
What effects to use?
For architectural trademarks, effects that enhance the dimensions of the image are more appropriate as they give an air of innovation to it. For that purpose, 3 dimensional effect and origami effect are most suitable. You can also use the Japanese paper folding art effect which is a new trend in the art world.
What colors to use?
Red, orange, black, blue and brown are four colors that are very frequently noticed in some of the best architecture logos in the industry. That is also because these four colors are commonly seen on constructions sites as well. Another reason why these colors are used is because they are bold and solid colors that give a dominant look when used in a brand mark. But if you are using these colors in your design make sure that you use a lighter or neutral colored background like white or light gray which complement the darker colors.
What images to use?
Just because you are creating a brand mark for the architectural profession does not mean that you have to use images of buildings and houses. Although, building images would give a wider range of choices, you can also use building block images or Lego images for it to be distinct from its peers.
Hence, I’m sure that you now have a clear idea of the kind of fonts, colors, effects and images that should be used for your business mark image to make the right impact on your target audience.
