It is easy to take Castors for granted. Although they can be found on much of the equipment, furniture, appliances and various items in our homes and businesses, we often do not lend them much thought. What one must do is think about what it would be like if these little wheels did not exist. Without the castor in our lives sore muscle product stock would soar through the roof. It would be much more difficult to move heavy items in our home and business if the Castors had not been invented. These wheels have been shouldering the weight for us, many times right under our noses.
If we truly thought about how often we come in contact with castor wheels perhaps we would not take them so much for granted. For example, one of the most common places we come in contact with the castor is when we visit a department store or super market. The shopping cart is equipped with these wheels. We push them around and load up our groceries without ever thinking about what it would be like if they had not been invented. We dare not consider that possibility.

Various dollies are designed to withstand different weight capacities. The castor may only hold less than a hundred pounds of weight or upwards over 2,000 pounds depending on the type. Many companies that deliver products to businesses use the dolly to roll them inside. If you are one of these employees you do not take the castor for granted.
Actually you can find Castors in your home as well. Some bed frames have them, as do night stands. The refrigerator normally has these wheels as do television and stereo stands and furniture. The castor in the home is quite common and very helpful in the long run when you have to move things around. However, there are many places outside the home as well.
Warehouses and factories utilize numerous Castors. You will find these wheels on a variety of hand trucks that are used for various purposes. They are mainly used to transport product from one location to another. You can find them on maintenance carts that are used by the maintenance personnel to carry tools and parts from one piece of equipment to another. They can be found on pallet jacks that are used to life heavy pallets of product and then can be pulled easily by hand. The castor is used to make the production operation more efficient and easier for employees. One thing is for sure, these wheels should never be taken for granted.
