Emergency vehicle lights can be extremely useful either to send across a warning signal to other motorists on the road or to convey or alert people on the road. There are different types of LED vehicle lights available and these can be picked based on your budget as well as your requirements. For example, you will come across full-fledged light bars, with sizes varying between 40 – 70 inches which can be used for law enforcement personnel carriers, construction and heavy equipment trucks, trailers, RVs and towing vehicles. These light bars prove useful because they have several different types of emergency lights mounted atop them. These include strobe light heads, alley lights, flashing takedowns, wide angle vision lights and LED linear and corner modules.

You will also come across mini light bars which are not more than 20 inches in length and 6 inches in width. These can be mounted on vehicle roofs and can provide flashing emergency lighting that is powerful enough to be perceived from a long distance. These lights cost much cheaper than the full length light bars and are ideal for vehicles with thinner roofs ...
... or for tighter budgets. There are other types of LED vehicle lights too, based on how they are used and where they can be mounted.

You would come across dash lights, deck lights and visor lights which are compact, measuring around 6 inches X 6 inches and can be mounted inside the vehicle as a secondary line of warning. These lights are mostly used for unmarked vehicles used in secret missions. Some of the models are also designed for external mounting. You have flexibility in terms of mounting, whether you want to install them on the dash, adjacent to the windshield, near the front bumper or grille or on the rear deck. These LED vehicle lights are compact and deliver high performance while providing an economical solution to your emergency lighting needs. You would also come across visor lights which are much smaller in size and can be mounted using Velcro discs behind the visor without obstructing the view of the driver. Some dash and deck lights also come with special flashback shields to prevent distraction to the driver from the flash patterns.

Other LED vehicle lights include beacons and light bars with built in sirens. The beacons can easily be mounted with the help of magnets with a high combined pull. The smaller emergency lights like grille, deck, visor and dash lights and beacons can all be mounted temporarily on vehicles with the help of suction cups that don’t need holes to be drilled. You will also come across lights that are installed through 1 inch holes in composite head lamps or brake and tail lights. These provide the added advantage of penetrative lighting, long operational life and built in programmable flash patterns which can easily attract the attention of fellow motorists. Most of these varieties are equipped for stable mounting on flat as well as curved surfaces and can be connected together for synchronized flashing.
