It is much easier to come into contact with Castors than you might think. These little wheels make many heavy items in the world move a lot easier. Manufacturers will often place them beneath heavy appliances, furniture, various carts, storage racks, and much more so that they may be moved with ease. It is a common practice to also place these small wheels on other equipment like hand trucks, dollies, and hydraulic jacks. The castor can with stand an incredible amount of weight and each is designed with its own limit. Whereas one might only carry 100 pounds, another may hold a ton. You can find a castor for every situation and in a variety of places.

When is the last time you visited a department store? Many department stores offer shopping carts for their customers. Shopping carts have castor wheels for ease of movement and you can fill that cart up as much as you wish and it will still glide across the floor. The make table, oven or grill, reach in coolers, reach in freezers and fryers are all on these amazing little wheels for the ease of moving them for cleaning purposes. A big oven or grill can weigh hundreds of pounds, but glide as easy as can be on these wheels designed to carry the heavy load.

The point we are trying to make is that you can come across Castors just about anywhere in your daily routine. These little wheels have made our lives so much easier and more efficient. Whether the castor is on a dolly or a bakery rack it makes the job less stressful and that is a good thing.
