I wonder what one day in the office of a web designer might be like. A client comes in to have a web page designed and constructed. He sits down with the designer to design his ideas and the latter listens with one mind figuring out what the client wants and the other part of his mind conceptualizing what he is hearing.

Designing a web site is not an easy undertaking; it is like designing a house where every tidbit of information, every iota of aesthetic longing, every consideration of effectivity and even the very idiosyncrasies’ of the customer must have total satisfaction.

Patiently and with utmost professionalism the designer yearns to satisfy the requirement of his client. Sometimes the client readily agrees to the ideas of the designer on the what’s and how’s to create the web page. But more often the former would insists to put his two-cents in. The designer would then delicately and with diplomacy worthy of a Kissinger, cajole the customer into a final draft of the design. Upon approval the designer would then proceed to the equally laborious task of the actual web site creation.

...
... The designer this time acting as a creator will use his reliable tool, the PSD to HTML/CSS converter program. This program is the web site creator’s gun to the soldier, a stethoscope to the doctor or even an airplane to the pilot. The PSD to HTML is can make or break a web site designer.

The designer then uses the program to have the design actualized on computer as a web site. The PSD is the file to create and edit images in Adobe Photoshop. The HTML is the in-built tags that are the building blocks of the web site. On the other hand the CSS which stands for Cascading Style Sheet, is the file that contains the completion or the presentation of the document which in this case is the web page. It separates the content of the web site from its design elements like colors and font.

Once the web site is ready to be presented to the client for approval and acceptance, both the client and designer analyzes the web page for any design variations and editing. Most of the time the customer will exercise some editing and the designer will then diligently and patiently go back to the drawing board, so to speak and effect the corresponding changes. Upon completion, another presentation is given and hopefully, the client approves and accepts the finished product.

How do I know all these? I know first hand because htmlangels.com handled my needs exactly like it.
