In the past not much thought has gone into playground surfaces. An expanse of grey was all there was to choose from and with it came dull areas which lack inspiration and a number of accidents from children falling over. These days the technology behind playgrounds and the equipment made to go in them has advance tenfold. Now it is possible to build an amazing play space which can reduce the amount of visits to the nurse and also brighten up the dullest of days.

Modern Appealing Play Areas

Think bright and think colourful when it comes to designing your new play spaces. It is possible to have your perfect playground surfaces combined with items designed to entertain and energise children of all ages.

Find a company who offers a free consultation on site where you can discuss the possibilities with the space available. The designer will be able to explain the differences in the safer playground surfaces which can be made in various bright and bold colours to appeal to all the kids and create a positive playground environment.

The free survey should be followed by a quotation if required to help you see what is available with the budget you have available. Many schools find it possible to apply for funding to help with the revamping of playground areas which are always worth investigating. An experienced firm will be able to point you in the right direction of funding opportunities so always ask when you make contact with a supplier.

Safety Is a Priority, As Well as Fun

Of course one of the main concerns these days is with safety which is why many playgrounds need redesigning in the UK. With the potential hazards all too obvious in old and neglected outdoor areas there is always the risk of serious injury and claims being made against the school. Modern playground surfaces and the matching equipment are built according to very strict requirements.

Always make sure you hire a company who install the equipment and floors with their own trained and experienced workers. The equipment will meet the necessary standards and any timber structures which are ordered will also be built and put into place by craftsmen who will make sure everything is safe and correct before the children can be let loose on it.

Choose modern playground surfaces for safety. The surfaces can be bright and colourful attracting children to play and start getting active.
