According to a recent update in a conference the Chief executive of Volvo has elucidated the much-discussed fact about the total warranty period coverage that Volvo Car Company tends to give. After much discussion, recently Volvo has decided to give a full warranty and service for 4 consecutive years from the time of purchase. However one additional clause has been added that the warranty would be not only based on the number of years but an additional period of 80000 miles coverage would also be taken into consideration. The warranty would be based on 4 years or 80000 miles, whichever comes first.



The Volvo Car Warranty scheme has also declared the fact that there would be no change in the warranty terms and conditions even if there is a change of ownership of the car. The warranty period would be considered from the day of purchase and the current owner can take full advantage of the warranty by displaying the ownership rights and paper works.
