The world of playground design has made huge advances in recent years. Forget about dull areas with the odd hop scotch grid painted on the floor. Playgrounds have never been so much fun, and when you combine this with up to date safety standards and requirements you can have a whole lot of fun in an easy to maintain safe area designed with children in mind.

Bring the Fun to School

School children in the past have had to make do with areas for playing which are somewhat lacking. With open concreted areas ball games have had to be scheduled or stopped altogether to stop other children playing from getting harmed. These days it is possible to rethink the boring play areas and use playground design and modern equipment to create a bright and energising space for children to enjoy a whole range of activities safely.

Positive Play Spaces Designed for All the Children

If your school needs some new items it is time to think about positive environments which will encourage activities yet ensure different types of play can be carried out safely. Using a combination of specialised safe surfaces to reduce cuts ...
... and bruises, child friendly attractive fencing and gates with equipment designed for set activities you can transform the outside spaces of your school.

Flexible Design

There is no need to limit the possibilities. Modern playground design involves equipment that can be modified in order to achieve their maximum potential in the spaces that are available. Use a company who are more than happy to come out to your school for free and survey the space. Discuss what you are looking for concerning zoning, safety and activities and see how it can work in the area you have.

It is a good idea to think about the different ways in which the children in your school would like to spend time during their breaks. Play towers, trails and outdoor seating are always a great place to start. These days the outdoor class room is also highly popular and gives the teachers in the school a lot more flexibility in inspiring children during class times.

Playground design is able to show the possibilities when it comes to boring grey play areas. Look online to find a specialist designer to transform your school.
