Taj Mahal was designed by an architect from Iran who was one of the well-known and famous Islamic architects and Taj Mahal being the symbol of endless love, its architecture is one of the best and appreciated which becomes an inspiration for the visitors. The whole building made of white marble shines during the day and night enhancing the beauty of architecture on which it is built.Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, which can be visited with same day Taj Mahal tour. The love and passion of Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, led him to erect a memorial in pristine marble. Emperor was a passionate builder who visualized the Taj Mahal. He picked up the best elements from designs offered by several architects, who came from different parts of the country. The construction of white mausoleum began in the year 1632 and took 22 years for its completion. It was completed in 1653 by a labour force of 20, 000 people. A board of finest architects inlays craftsmen, stone-carvers, calligraphers and mansions were appointed to build this ultimate memorial. Ustad Ias Khan, the Persian master builder played an important role in designing the mausoleum. Abd Ul-Karim Ma'mur and Makramat Khan, the skilled architects were also employed to design the monument.

The white marble was brought from Makrana in Rajasthan, yellow marble and rockspar from the bank of Narmada river, black marble form Charkoh and red sandstone from Sikri. Taj Mahal building is adorned with semi precious stones inlaid with the delicacy of handcrafted jewelery.The clarity of the white marble, the fragile embellishment, costly gemstones used and its picturesque location, all make Taj increase a place surrounded by the most popular ones.Taj Mahal is certain to cast a magic enchantment on you everlastingly. There is no other monument all over the globe, which can match the splendor and opulence of this tombstone. The colour of the Taj changes with every alteration that takes place in the sky.
