Going on holiday is something every person looks forward to. There is an undeniable magic that accompanies visits to places you haven't been to, or places that you enjoy visiting time after time. With the recent global economic situation, a large number of Aussies have put off their trips due to lack of resources. This is because most people's perception of a holiday will involve boarding a plane and jetting off to a foreign country. It doesn't have to be the case since there are many great Australia holiday destinations that you could visit. You don't have to leave the country to have a great time. Also, by staying in holiday parks, you will save money on accommodations.

Australia contains some of the world's most beautiful natural sceneries. In 2011, the country welcomed nearly six million overseas tourists and revenues added up to nearly AUD$35 billion. Millions from around the world are flocking to see what the country offers. It is about time that Aussies discover some of the best Australia holiday destinations.

Ningaloo Reef

Ningaloo Reef is off the western coast of the country. It is several hundred ...
... miles north of Perth and is accessible via land travel. This location is significant because it is the place to find the country's largest fringing coral reef. It is one of few coral reefs worldwide that is within wading distance from the shore. Its average depth of four metres is another remarkable feature. Due to the area's rich marine life, you will find a wide variety of activities that visitors can see and do. Additionally, there are several holiday parks in the area, giving guests a hassle-free accommodation alternative.

- Whale sharks - Perhaps the destination's greatest draw. From March to June, the mighty whale sharks assemble in the lagoons of Ningaloo Reef. It is one of just two places in the entire world where such a thing happens. Millions around the globe are interested in these giant but mild-mannered creatures that hardly ever make an appearance so near to the shore. Visitors can swim alongside them or observe them from a distance onboard a watercraft.

- Turtle Hatchlings - Sea turtles are one of the world's most amazing creatures. Seeing them in the open ocean is one thing, but seeing them hatch and make their way to the ocean is another. Visitors who happen to be lucky enough to have seen this in the past say it is an incomparable experience.

Shark Bay World Heritage Area

Located along Western Australia's coastline, this area's most notable attraction is the Monkey Mia. Tourists go to this destination for the opportunity to feed, swim, and play with the dolphins. Interestingly, the area hosts one of the world's most interactive dolphin experiences. The activities do not stop, however, with the dolphins. There's also other activities that make it among the most fun Australia holiday attractions.

- Aboriginal Cultural experience - The Aborigines were the first people to settle on this land. Here, guests can easily learn about the ways of the local Malgana people.

- Stargazing - Due to its secluded locale, the place is ideal for watching stars at night. The stars certainly shine brighter where there's less light pollution, and more open skies.
