... equipment can be relied upon for the protection of anyone working in or living near a dangerous environment. But just what constitutes a dangerous environment?

Areas that qualify for the hazardous environment label are usually those where flammable liquids are present. These areas may also be subject to vapors and combustibles, such as gas and dust. While many environments are guilty of housing these properties without being considered wholly hazardous, some contain such a concentrated amount that the utmost care and safety practices should be followed to the letter of the law.

As industries around the world continue to automate their operations, the need for equipment in these hazardous areas is greatly beneficial. But only if one can trust the certification standards with which they are accompanied. The modern age brings great power to a number of industries. But without the knowledge and the training to work with this equipment, they are useless at best and dangerous at worst. Make sure that your organization is prepared.
