Before the baby is born it is a good idea to pick out the style of birth announcement you want. A birth announcement tells everyone that the new bundle of joy has arrived after nine months of anticipation. There are many birth announcement themes you can choose from, each one unique and tailor made according to you wishes for your baby.

You can opt to have your baby’s picture appear on the announcement itself as it would on a facsimile of a passport or an IPO certificate or on the cover of your favourite magazine. Or, you can do a make-believe Driver’s license birth announcement. Pictures of the parents as well as the siblings, if there are any, can also appear on the birth announcements as you may wish. The pictures of the equally proud grandparents may also be included on the birth announcement cards.

The occasion can become a joint family undertaking involving as many members as are interested to be part of the event planning process. The cards are custom-printed so that you can choose what color background you may want the birth announcement to have and which pictures to include. Should you be blessed with multiple births, suitable adjustments can be made on the design without losing any of its cute appeal. The designs are customizable for a boy or a girl. These announcements can also be converted into refrigerator magnets that can become long lasting keepsakes of the occasion and a good reminder of your baby’s birthday date in the years to come.
