Every driven traveller wishes to cruise the pacific. Its islands, located in the pristine waters of the Pacific Ocean, are some of the world's most beautiful and exotic natural marvels. If you wish to see their beauty up close, then cruise travel is the way to go.

A typical pacific cruise frequents places like Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii, Polynesia, along with a host of other small islands. Every one of them has breathtaking tourist attractions and water activities such as kayaking, hiking, scuba diving, and snorkelling.

A Pacific cruise will take you to lush tropical islands with unique culture, friendly night-life, and ideal beaches. It offers romance, remarkable scenery and the trip of a lifetime. What is more enjoyable than sitting pretty in the middle of the Pacific Ocean?

A cruise to the Pacific is usually linked to luxury and premium services as very few cruise lines travel to this area. Those that do are thought to be upscale and focus fully on providing guests with the best services. Get ready to pay higher than normal prices for other cruise deals.

If you plan beforehand, ...
... you can find good rates and take advantage of big savings, particularly if you search online.

Cruises will differ in length depending on the stops and the cruise line itself. Moreover, it comes with different itineraries-from three-night long weekend-type getaways to the standard one-week cruise, and even up to 10 and 12 night sailings.

Pacific cruises mostly circle the volcanic islands and coral reefs around Fiji or Tahiti. They typically go to five main islands: Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, Kauai and Molikai. Some tourists are even treated to the impressive sight of lava flowing from Kilauea volcano into the Pacific Ocean.

Late November and early December are really good periods to cruise the Pacific. Prices are a bit lower and the hurricane or rainy season has wind down.

Most visitors are attracted by the striking sceneries and the opportunity to watch wildlife during summer months. Many agree that the best way to view whales and soaring eagles is from the deck of a cruise ship.

For families, summer holidays and school breaks are common times to get on a Pacific cruise. Fares are highest during these periods, though.

A cruise to the Pacific could include a selection of all-suite accommodation. This supplies a large living room, dining area, large veranda, a king-size bedroom, walk-in closet, and master bath with Jacuzzi. They may in addition offer the ocean view cabin which features a state-of-the-art sound system, data port for laptops, flat-screen televisions, DVD players in bedroom, living room and bathroom, a cordless phone, and security safe. Expect to be offered Pacific cotton sheets and bath towels, complimentary bathrobes and tropical bath products.

For dining, cruise lines generally serve multi-course gourmet meals and complimentary in-stateroom dining. You don't have to worry should you have dietary preferences as they serve a wide variety of dishes and international cuisine.
