When we see a racing car do duel with other racing cars on TV we find it an exciting and enthralling sport. Though we ourselves drive a car day in and day out we enjoy watching the racing cars because their performance is in another league. They have better acceleration and they are able to turn corners at a higher speed. And of course their drivers have a higher skill level to get the best out of the cars.

But one can also wonder how come these cars are able to perform so exceptionally after all in many races they use street cars and not special cars meant for racing alone. And the fact is that ordinary street cars can be configured to be able to deliver a higher performance. And this does not mean going in for a more powerful engine, it more often means being able to maintain high speeds even while maneuvering.

And for that the racing cars need to have a low center of gravity so that they do not topple over. And you too can lower the center of gravity of your car and give its performance an edge by opting for lowering springs. Lowering springs are the main component of lowering kits ...
... which modify your car's suspension. The passenger cabin of your car is mounted on springs so that you do not allow the bumps that your car hits on the road to each you. Usually in stock cars these are long and enable a pretty soft ride because most people prefer the higher amount of comfort that offers on bad roads. But if you rarely drive on bad roads and prefer to have a better performance instead you can opt for the shorter springs which make the car's suspension a little harder but then give you the big benefit of a lower center of gravity.

Once you have a lower center of gravity you will be able to race around tight corners faster. You can check out lowering springs online. At the time you can also check out other suspension products such as coilovers. You can see the latest car aftermarket products at www.ilovebodykits.com.
