Oak Doors Are The Best

My parents live in the same house that they have lived in all of their married lives. They have it beautifully decorated. It is truly an impressive house to walk through. So what’s the problem? Well, it’s their Oak Doors. Walking up to their front door you would think that they would have a nasty house inside. The door is cracked. It has gaps on the top and the bottom of the door and is just plain ugly. I worry about their safety a lot because it would not take much for someone to kick the door in. In fact one hard shove would probably open it. I swear the same door has been on their house since they bought it.

I decided that the perfect present for their anniversary would be a new front door. I wanted one that would look beautiful but also keep them protected from unwanted guests. My parents are a fan of wood and so am I so I decided to look at Oak Doors. I found some that were absolutely beautiful. They were in two different shades of oak. Okay, so now I knew the door I wanted but I was concerned that the door was wooden so it would still not give the protection that I wanted for them. I did some research on this particular door and was amazed by what I found out. These Oak Doors were actually an oak wood grain finish but they were made with a strong aluminium metal alloy. They are so strong that even the most hardened and talented criminal would have a difficult time getting through the door. So now I was really impressed.

These oak doors are also customized which meant that I could design everything on the door not just the wood finish. They came in vertical, horizontal and diagonal patterns. They were all beautiful but I finally chose the vertical pattern. But I was still not done yet, I had to choose if I wanted a window on the door. These windows are double laminated for added security. I chose a long octagon shaped window.

Next I had to choose if I wanted additions like peepholes, door knockers or a mailbox installed on the door. These came in chrome, brass or satin finish. I chose the peephole and the mailbox, both in brass.

When I was finished designing the door, and had given the measurements, the door was built for me. It was also shipped to my house and my husband went and installed the door. My parents loved the door. It made the outside of their house as beautiful as the inside. I am so happy that I looked at oak doors.
