Patio Tables Centerpiece

Catalogue perfection is something we all covet when it comes to planning picture-perfect spreads for our patio tables. Have you ever tried your hand creating a stunning centerpiece for yours? It’s actually much easier than it sounds. Usually all it takes is a couple hours, some supplies you can find around the house or yard, and a creative spirit. Don’t be afraid of these do-it-yourself projects. They are cheap and simple, and nearly impossible to mess up!
1.The Veggie Patch Centerpiece
This concept it a great one because it is colorful, and edible! Start by digging out a deep, galvanized metal container (available at most hardware stores), and cleaning it thoroughly. Next, cover the bottom with bean sprouts, and add just enough water to moisturize them. Now add patches of assorted vegetables, arranging them by type. A good selection includes cherry tomatoes, carrots, radishes, asparagus and cauliflower, but feel free to make your own additions to taste. Now you have a centerpiece, and an hors d’oeuvre. Position it at the center of your patio table, and add a dish of veggie dip at each corner.
2.Reef ...
... and Candle Centerpiece
Unless you’re living at the beach, you may not have pieces of coral just lying around for this arrangement. But patio tables everywhere can receive the reef and candle centerpiece treatment. First, grab a couple of large, dry branches from the yard. Spray paint them a coral red color and allow them to dry. Meanwhile, gather frosted white candleholders of different sizes and insert tea lights. If you don’t have frosted glass holders, decorate clear candleholders with decorative paper. Arrange the assorted candleholders in two rows down the middle of your patio table, weaving your coral branches in between. Add small groupings of rocks and shells here and there for added charm. Hint: this looks best on a white table cloth!
3.Tin Cans and Wildflowers
This may be the cheapest, most effortless look to pull off. It’s also one of the most beautiful ways to glamorize patio tables. Start by gathering a good selection of tin cans. Paint cans in varying sizes work best. Wash and dry them thoroughly, then spray paint them with a soft blue or creamy white paint. Place moss or flower foam a few inches deep in each can, and add wildflowers. Choose three to four different flowers and greenery to create a look that’s varied, but still pulled-together.
4.Moss and Stone Centerpiece
This is a fitting way to decorate patio tables on a late spring day. The best part is, you may be able to collect all you need without leaving home. Start by gathering medium-sized rocks of a similar shade in your backyard, as well as enough moss to cover a foot-wide strip down the center of your patio table. If you can’t find what you need, just pick up the supplies at your local craft store. Arrange the rocks in two, staggered rows down the length of your table, and fill in spaces in between with moss. Add a handful of white votive candles along the edges for a little glow and enjoy!
