Gainesville is the largest city of the Alachua County in Florida. The sixth largest campus in the USA, the University of Florida and Santa Fe College called home to

the city. However the Gainesville is known as the home of the University of Florida. Approximately fifty thousand students enroll and study in this small town

university. Most of the people think there are limited things to do, but Gainesville lends opportunity to plenty of things to do.
Visit Lake Walburg there you can do many activities such as you can play Frisbee, football, volleyball. You can even go canoeing. If you love doing challenging

activities there is a rope course it will raise your heart beat. To participate in the rope course you need to inform staff or enroll yourself prior. It is also a very

good chance to exploit socially.
Take hour and a half trip of Ichetucknee River to beat the heat. This is the best option to cool off the torrid and stifling heat. Whether you are studying at the

place is ideal for picnic and camping.
Art and drama lover can visit Hippodrome state theatre located in Downtown Gainesville Fl. The theater features Broadway and off Broadway productions and art house

films. Youth can join youth theatre education class provided by Hippodrome state theatre.
The Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art located in UF cultural plaza area is the One of the largest university art museums in the Southeast. The museum has 6200 woks as

permanent collection that focused on Asian, African, modern and contemporary art, as well as photography. The museum also has array of temporary exhibitions. The

university sponsors educational programs at the museum for film, art and interactive activities.
