Getting into the government jobs is, a dream come true for a lot of people in the country. Although, people go for the private companies for their livelihood and employment, yet there is always an undercurrent of likeness for the government sector jobs. And so, any chance to serve in these jobs is rarely left out by the people. Various public sector banks are expanding their businesses into the insurance sector, mutual funds, loans, etc, so that the number of skilled and educated people is more. It is also because that the number of bank jobs is increasing, people are inclined towards them, as they have a better chance at making it through them.

The department of railways is a large entity with the train stations and other related offices and works extending all over the country. The mere extent of the railways is an indication of the manpower that must be needed to manage different functions carried out by this particular sector in India.
