Auto Expo Gets Bigger – 24 Countries To Be A Part Of India’s Largest Automotive Show
The Auto Expo 2012 is just round the corner and there’s a lot of being talked about India and Asia’s biggest automotive show. This year Auto Expo is getting bigger and better with the show ready to experience huge international participation. Talking about the numbers, the show has attracted 1,500 participants from 24 countries across the world.
The participating countries would comprise not just automobile majors, but will also include renowned auto component manufacturers from across the world. Much like the previous edition of the show, international visitors will also be coming to visit the show.
The magnitude of the show can be judged from the fact that the show will see more than 50 launches of new vehicles, which will include models from both India as well as overseas. The models that will be unveiled at the show will include 32 include 32 passenger cars, nine two-wheeler models and six commercial vehicles.
Exhibitors from the auto component industry have a strong presence in Auto Expo 2012. Some of the major component manufacturers from Belarus, Canada, People’s Republic of China, France, Germany, ...
... Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and UAE are participating in the 11th Auto Expo. Making it, a truly “India’s global Automotive show”.
The Auto Expo is jointly organized by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association, the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, the Auto Expo over the emerged to be one of the key events of the global auto industry, which is a testimony to the emergence of India as an economic powerhouse in the global arena.
With every passing edition, the show is becoming bigger and has been making quite a buzz around the globe. The participation level too is getting bigger as more and more automotive players are coming in for the show. Moreover, along with the ever increasing magnitude of participants across the world, the show has become a symbol of the progress of automotive industry. The Auto show is expected to generate direct order bookings for component manufacturers and can also result in long-term collaborations, joint ventures and business partnerships.
