Fine Dining Increasing At Casinos
While many customers are able to travel to casinos via cheap airplane tickets and stay in discount hotel rooms or take advantage of cheap vacation packages they are increasingly being exposed to serious fine dining options at casinos.
Almost three in every four Americans who visited a casino in 2010 enjoyed a meal at a fine dining restaurant on the casino premises. Increasingly, top chefs have opened high end restaurants in casinos around the world.
American chefs who have opened restaurants outside the U.S. have been drawn by the big spending atmosphere of casinos. Batali has opened his second outpost of his popular Los Angeles Osteria Mozza & Pizzeria at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
