CPR stands for cardio pulmonary resuscitation. This is a kind of life saving technique that is performed on people who are suffering sudden cut of oxygen flow to the brain. Cardiac arrest is one such situation when the flow of oxygen to the brain is cut off. the fact of the situation is that, the human brain can survive (on an average) for only five minutes without oxygen, after which the person may either suffer permanent brain damage and damages associated with it, or they can also lose their lives, which has, unfortunately, happened so often.
