Auto Expo 2012 Gears To Be A Grand Success!

The Delhi Auto Expo 2012 is about to begin and those backstage are leaving no stone unturned to make this show a grand success. Billed to be the complete automotive show in the world and the largest in India; Auto Expo will script a new success story with its efficient management.

The show is organized jointly by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers. The organizers this year are taking full care to manage the crowd and avoid the rush by limiting the visitor’s entry to 1 lakh per day out of which the entry limit for general visitors is 70,000 a day, reserving the rest of the slots for the number of exhibitors, media and people with special invites.

To ensure easy movement of the crowd at the venue, the allotted area for exhibition has been minimized to 1.15 lakh square meters from the 1.25 lakh sq metre spread in 2010 edition. Moreover, to ease out the movement of visitors, ample space has been keep to facilitate easy view and the number of hangars has also been reduced to 10 from 20 at the earlier edition.

... traffic movement is another concern addressed by the organizers to ensure smooth sailing of the show. Along with facilities to book tickets online, special ticketing booths have been allotted. These are away from the main roads to ensure no hindrance in the traffic movement.

Further, keeping in view the cleanliness aspect, two agencies have been hired. These agencies will take complete care of maintaining basic facilities and ensuring cleanliness at the venue. Also, like the previous proper care has been taken to assign designated days, segregating special days from the days open for the general visitor’s venue.

Auto Expo 2012 would witness launch of About 50 vehicles besides a display of world class vehicles and designs. India-specific products are also to be unveiled simultaneously for the first time. Component manufacturers will be announcing major innovations in their respective fields, especially their efforts in the area of green technology.

Along with an exhilarating line-up of vehicles, Auto Expo 2012 will have many interesting highlights such as pavilions These will include pavilions for accessories, audio, alternate fuel, gas technologies, design, IT, diesel, garage equipment and the popular ‘asli-naqli’ pavilion.

The show will script another successful chapter as those backstage have taken care of every small detail to make the show a grand success!
