Delhi City has various historical monuments proudly representing the golden era. The history of these monuments is so intense that it amazes the travelers. On the other hand various temples in Delhi enjoy the status of famous tourist destinations well known for their architectural brilliance experience they join to the lives of the people who see these temples-
ISKON Temple - Built by the International society for Krishna consciousness, ISKON temple in New Delhi is also known as Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple. Dedicated to lord Krishna this temple houses deities like Radha Krishna, Ram-Sita-Laxman, HanumaISKON-Temple-in-New-Delhin and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
Birla Mandir - Birla mandir is in the Cannaught Place area and is also known as Laxmi Narayan Mandir. Built bBirla-Mandir-in-New-delhiy the eminent Birla family in the year 1938, this artistically designed templewas inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. Built in Nagara style of architecture, the influence of the contemporary designs is evidently seen, the exterior of the temple is decorated with white marbles and red sandstone dominated by tall curved towers.

Lotus Temple - India is Famous Tourist Attraction The lotus temple is a beautifully constructed structure of partially floating lotus set in the middle of Pools and Garden. The petals are made of white marbles contributing to the exquisite structure.The fact that in whole Asia it is the only Bahai temple of worship categorizes it as a special tourist destination.
Chattarpur Mandir - It is Situated at a distance of 4 km from Qutab Minar, the Chattarpur Mandir is a fine example of flamboyant and rich temples. The main temple is built in south Indian form of architecture and is devoted to goddess Durga. The campus of the temple is spread over a large area and during the Durga Puja days one can see long queues of devotees especially the local Hindus.
Hanuman Mandir Delhi - Hanuman Mandir is situated at the Baba Kharak Singh Marg (road) near Connaught Place. One of the oldest Hanuman temples in the country, it was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the year 1724.Since the time of its construction, the Lord Hanuman Temple of New Delhi has undergone many restorations.
Kalkaji Temple - Its Temple is situated beyond the commercial complex of Nehru Place in Delhi. This domed twelve-sided temple is devoted to Goddess Kalka Devi. The oldest section of the Kalka Ji Mandir of New Delhi dates back to the year 1764-1771, when the Marathas were in power.Some renovation and additions were carried out in the mid-19th century.

To trace the origin of religion is not a very easy task as even prehistoric man believed in religion.It is his belief of supernatural occurrences such as rain, death, day and night cycle that has resulted in the present religions.Delhi have all religions famous places.
