Munnar, situated where the three mountain streams Mudtrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala meet, is a picturesque hill station in Kerala . It is located in the Idukki district and was once a summer getaway in South India for British Government. At an altitude of 6000 ft above sea level, it enjoys pleasant weather throughout the year. Its hills, greenery and tea plantations make it a popular tourist spot.

Anaimudi peak is considered the highest peak in Southern India and is popular for trekking and camping and Echo point is another favourite attraction at Munnar, as it is said that you can hear your echo three times. Located about 20 km from here, is a town called Kundala which is known for its Golf Course. Besides the beautiful kinds of flowers found at Munnar, the rare flower Neelakurunji which blossoms once every twelve years is located at Kundala.
