Punjab is a province located in the northeast of India, with Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan as well as the Pakistani province as the neighboring states. Chandigarh is the joint capital of Punjab and Haryana. It was established in the year 1966. The total area is 50,632 square kilometers, it stretches from latitudes 29°30’ N to 32° 32’ N and longitudes 73° 55’ E to 76° 50 ‘ E.
