Castors Rule The World

Okay, Castors may not rule the world or even a very small country, but they do rule. They rule because they have made such a vast difference in the lives of many people around the world. Wait a moment, what do you mean what is a castor? We will give you a hint, we are not talking about a sports(castor) or a news(castor). The castor is one of those little wheels that are placed under heavy items so that they can be pushed around easily for cleaning, rearranging or operational reasons. These small wheels have taken a lot of the weight off of our shoulders and we can find them everywhere in our everyday life.

You may not realize it, but you probably use some type of Castors each and every day. It appears you are a bit doubtful. Okay, what about when you visit your local supermarket or department store. When you walk in the door one of the first things you typically do is grab a shopping cart. These carts are equipped with a type of castor, four of them to be exact. This is much easier than carrying everything you buy in your arms. It is safe to say that shopping carts have certainly made our lives a lot easier.

... us provide you with yet another example. Do you have a computer and desk in your home? If you have a computer chair then chances are it is equipped with castor wheels for ease of motion. These chairs make it easier for you to turn in any direction, to pull your chair up close, or move away from the desk. The tiny wheels make the motion smooth and comfortable and make working at your desk much easier.

If you work in an office environment then you probably have a computer chair there as well that utilizes Castors. Your desk may very well have them to for ease of moving from one location to the next. If there is a Xerox machine in your office, it may very well be on tiny wheels as well. The chairs around your board room table may also have wheels as well as the sofa or seating in your office area for visitors. Are you starting to see how these amazing little wheels can be found everywhere?

When you go to a hospital you are bound to see various bits of equipment on Castors other than just the normal office items. For example, if they hook you up to a machine to monitor your vital signs it will be on tiny wheels for ease of movement. The hospital beds themselves are on wheels. The guest recliners in a hospital room are normally on wheels as well. Everything is set up for easy movement in a hospital. You can find these wheels everywhere you go, that is why they rule the world in our hearts.
