There are quite a few mounting options which are available with emergency light heads to give you the flexibility when it comes to mounting atop different kinds of vehicles. There are mounting swivel brackets, universal, L-shaped and bail brackets, mounting clamps, suction cups, magnets, slide bolts and mounting clips and straps. It is possible to pick and choose the mounting options based on the kind of the vehicle you are choosing. The surface mounted lights come with a polycarbonate, high impact resistant housing. In some cases, a highly stable aluminum housing, which is specially nickel plated or powder coated, is used. The lights are exceptionally stable irrespective of whether they are mounted on flat surfaces or curved surfaces.

The surface mounted lights have diffusing lenses which are clear and easily replaceable. The diffusing lenses help in creating wide angle beams which can penetrate through long distances. The long range lights can be mounted in the front bumper or grille or near the rear deck, depending on the direction of the warning signal that you desire. Recess and surface mount lights ...

The lights use different types of light syncing technology which helps in synchronizing the lighting patterns of surface and recess mount lights, installed at different angles and in different positions. There are specially mounted lights for bikes too.

The surface mounted lights make use of Lexan polycarbonate lenses which provide crystal, clear lighting with bright output. The kit also includes 3-wire, shielded cables and rubber mounting gaskets. Compression gaskets can help in providing additional resilience to the lighting elements. Extreme angle or light house optics technology are used to create long range lighting. There are customized mirror mount kits and 45-degree horizontal and vertical brackets available as well for greater flexibility for mounting. There are special 90 degree brackets too, which provide additional mounting flexibility. Crash bar brackets with 1 – 1.5 inches diameter prove useful for motorbikes used by cops.

You can use surface mounted lights with solid color and split color lighting kits depending upon the lighting requirement. Split color lighting modules provide more combinations as far as flashing is concerned. Mirror mount grommets and single surface mounting lights can also be customized for specific vehicles. There are mounting brackets specially designed to mount on surfaces like rear decks, vehicles roofs and windshields.

There are universal model surface mounted lights where the brackets can be adjusted in terms of their angle and height. This can help in adjusting to different windshield angles which provides compatibility to different surface angles of different vehicle models. Super wide angle beams and interior lighting bars are customized to provide perfect fit even when used in tight intersection angles. They can be installed against the headliner with concealed installation making them perfect for stealth vehicles too. There are vehicle specific brackets which come with conductor cables, flashback shroud and hardwire installation. The sleek and narrow designs are also streamlined to reduce air drag resistance.
