If you need to sort out speeding tickets using a speeding barrister often makes sense. They know the law inside out meaning that they can often get the speeding ticket completely cancelled for you. This is especially important if you have committed several driving offences and already have points on your licence. If you drive for a living or have to drive to get to your workplace you often cannot afford to run the risk of losing your driving licence. Plus of course speeding fines are very expensive.

Barristers That Can Sort Out Speeding Tickets
In theory any barrister can help you, but there are some out there who are traffic offence specialists. These are the barristers you should be looking for if you have a speeding fine to pay or have been accused of another driving offence. The reason for this is that they have much more experience of the law and most importantly the way in which the courts interpret those laws.

The information you have to provide varies depending on the nature of your speeding offence and when you became aware of it. Generally speaking, the more information you give the barrister ...
... the better.

If you get stopped and are presented with a speeding ticket make a note of as many details as you can. Details of the officer that gave the ticket to you can easily be obtained at a later date. However, when you get back into the car make a note of the road you are on, the speed you thought you were travelling at, the speed that the officer told you were going, how long you were travelling at that speed and anything else the officer told you.

Finding Barristers to Sort Out Speeding Tickets
Most barristers advertise themselves in the Yellow Pages. However, those barristers that deal primarily with speeding tickets and other driving offences tend to advertise this particular service online rather than anywhere else. Most offer free initial advice over the phone, and if they cannot help you because of geography will recommend a colleague that can.
