Mandarmani is well connected to most places in the state, as well as to a number of places that are located in different states nearby. There are a number of ways to reach the town, the most popular way being by road. There are a number of buses traveling to the town of Chawalkhola and one can easily find a taxi or an auto rickshaw to get to the beach. The nearest railway station to Mandarmani can be found at Contai and there are a number of trains arriving at the station from various parts of the country every day. Many tourists choose to drive their vehicles on the beach to get to their resorts. This can be dangerous as there are no lights on the beach and it may be hard to find people on the beach after dark. ...
... There are also a number of dunes here and the soft sand make it a bad place for driving.

Most people that visit Mandarmani enjoy spending time on the beach and there is little else to see in town, except for the fishermen doing their work in the distance. There are also some fishing settlements located nearby and the seafood at Mandarmani is fabulous. It is dangerous for tourist to travel to these places because it is a secluded spot and one may not find any people there. Beach cricket and Boat Cruises are wonderful ways of passing time on the beach and there are a number of places here serving some delicious food. The Bengali food available at most resorts here is wonderful, although it can be a little on the expensive side, as most of the ingredients need to be brought here from other places.
