Karwar is a coastal town of Karnataka located on the banks of the Kali River and lies just 15 km from the Karnataka-Goa border. The nearest airport is located in Goa located some 97 km, from there take a bus or cab to Margoa and from Margoa board a train to Karwar.
Karwar has its very own railway station and is served by numerous trains from both big and small stations of India.
