Everyone has attended conferences and venues and AGMs and the like where the facilities supplied were less than ideal. Most of us are adults and so it is never comfortable to have to sit on hard wooden, or even worse, plastic chairs at small tables for any extended period. And yet that is what many of these events expect us to do. Not only are the seats hard and uncomfortable but they all make a noise on the wooden floor.

And the acoustics are less than ideal. If you are in a small room with a maximum of 12 people who are seated in a U of a circle where they are all facing one another it is very different if one is sitting in a large hall with a hundred or more people and they are seated in rows. Anything that the person in front facing the audience says may be heard by everybody. But should someone in the front ask a question someone sitting near the back will battle to hear.

But in the case mentioned above a lot of the audience will be going home feeling a sore bum and will have in all likelihood missed the point of the show. In any event they are unlikely to be fired up into taking immediate action.

It is imperative therefore that one checks the facilities of the venue one chooses. Secondly the theatre sizes vary so one can arrange to rent big venue for 1000 people or a small one for 50 depending on one's requirements. And furthermore one can easily arrange a roadshow going from cinema to cinema to get the message to as many people as possible near their residences.
