Cardio pulmonary resuscitation is known as CPR in short. This is a kind of first aid that is provided to people who have suffered from conditions like cardiac arrest, and because of which the flow of oxygen to the brain of the patient gets disrupted. Various methods of CPR is applied on the patient immediately after the unfortunate event happens, which ensures that no disturbance is faced in transport of oxygen to the brain. Mouth to mouth breathing and chest compressions are the most common types of CPR, and many people have witnessed the application of the same at some point of their lives or the other. CPR is often considered a first aid, because it is provided immediately after the condition takes place, to sustain life for as long as medical aid arrives. However, the importance of this is way over any other first aid provided for any other condition. In fact, if CPR is not provided in time before the medical help arrives, the person suffering the condition may succumb to severe brain damage, which may also result in death.

Who Should Take CPR Lessons:

For all those who think that CPR courses ...
... are only for the people in medical profession, this may be the right time to get the real picture. It is true that it is imperative for all in medical and health care profession to know all about Cardio pulmonary resuscitation, but it is also for the people of non medical background to arm themselves with the basic knowledge of the same. As has already been mentioned that CPR is to be applied to patients as first aid, so that the latter can hold on to life and safety till the time medical help arrives, it is usually upon the near and dear ones of the patient concerned to provide the same. If not, then very point of providing this life saving support gets nullified. Cardiac arrest is not the only situation when CPR becomes necessary. Drowning, choking on poisonous gas etc will also require the same. Thus, it also becomes necessary for people like swimming and gym instructors, life guards, kindergarten teachers, and even parents of small children to know application of CPR like the back of their hands. In fact, each and every person irrespective of their profession can benefit from taking CPR course and following certification.

Classroom Coaching Vs Online Course:

People can avail CPR course from certified institutions that offer the same. Classroom coaching has always been a favored option because taking the classes from trainers in person is always a plus point. However, due to lack of time, people may not be able to take time out for attending classes and this is where online lessons come into the picture. CPR class online is flexible and almost anyone and every one can avail the same because of the fact that it is not time bound. The trainees, though, may be required to appear before trainers in person before acquiring their certification on the same.
