Many people start planning for their retirement from very early stages of life. These people usually have foresightedness and know the problems that might come with retirement and aging. Therefore they start taking preparations for that time quite in advance. It is good in all ways as everything remains smooth and easy after retirement.

Investing in deferred annuities is one of the most common important steps that are taken by many people. Among the different kinds of annuity plans that are there on offer, a tax deferred annuity plan is considered as the best for those who are planned in life. There is a reason behind the name ‘deferred annuities’. The term deferred is used as the investment plan continues for a long period of time before the benefits from the plan can be reaped by the individual. The earlier one starts investing in a tax deferred annuity plan, higher is the return that can be obtained on retirement.

Financial problems are the most common issues that haunt the retired people after their working life gets over. With the little amount of pension that they get, it is ...
... very difficult to survive in this world, where the prices of essential commodities are constantly rising and on fire. In such a situation, it becomes mandatory that an alternative source of income has to be thought of and there is nothing better than deferred annuities. There are distinct two phases in a tax deferred annuity plan. One is the investment phase and the other is the income phase. In the investment phase of the tax deferred annuity plan, investments have to be made on regular basis till a particular period of time. Interest is also provided on the invested amount and then post retirement; money can be drawn from deferred annuities.

The options that can be chosen for drawing money from deferred annuities are also very convenient and depend completely on the individual. If one wants to withdraw the entire money on one time basis, one can do that in lump sum and use the money for buying a car, arranging a vacation, for treatments and so on. The money remains deferred from any kind of tax till the time it is not withdrawn and hence the name tax deferred annuity. On the other hand, payments can also be taken on monthly installment basis, which will help in meeting the monthly expenses smoothly.
