I am one of the few that still believe that BlackBerry Playbook is a great tablet, and here my review of confirming it for months. Playbook is a good tablet, with a consistent hardware, operating system quickly with a very interesting interface. But you see as wrong can be a good product to sell, so we just have to see another very similar example, the HP TouchPad.

BlackBerry HP and share a history of failing a great product in a market that is exploding, if not already done so. By HP, that was good TouchPad hardware, an operating system and is great WebOS and interesting accessories. RIM's happening in the same playbook. You see as having a good product is not everything, there are many factors that make a product successful, but RIM has sinned in many points and so has been found in the hole left by this production of Canon bp-208dg
batteries
.

1: Operating System
BaclkBerry Playbook comes with QNX operating system, which it acquired for future operating system not only tablets, if not all its future ...
... devices. QNX is fast, secure and works like lightning playbook. With a good interface and easy to use. The problem? A new operating system is completely unknown, released when the Canon nb-5l
battery
was already a bestseller and Android Honeycomb was within half a dozen tablets about to be sold. It is difficult to get people who know what in the world of technology, it is clear that inserting a new operating system within this range of products is something that nobody has managed to do correctly.

2: Applications
The weakness of all new operating systems, although more or less fortunate, such as Windows Phone 7 has captured many applications in a few lifetimes. But you can hardly find PlayBook known applications that are available to other systems. And no, Angry Birds is not an example because this game is available up to the first generation of Game Boy.

3: Little interest from developers
And the last point is completely related to this, the reluctance of developers to create or port applications. An example, from whom is the Playbook Facebook app? In the same BlackBerry, however, whose is the Facebook app for IOS or Android? Just Facebook. When you have a new Casio np-l7
battery
and give little assistance to developers to create, you are doomed to failure. Although RIM has put all his lectures to local developers for many countries, has missed something important, motivation, and what better motivation than the dollar sign.

4: Bad marketing
I've only seen ads for Fujifilm np-100
battery
in the U.S., this year I made several trips to different states of U.S. and I could see there were plenty of ads, especially at some airports where literally, the walls were lined PlayBook ads. It is something that is understood, one of the most important markets for U.S. RIM is and Canada (RIM is a Canadian company, in case you did not know). And of course, which are involved thousands of "professionals" for several hours? Answer: at the airport. But in other countries advertising its presence has not worked or has been practically nil. Will he announce on TV? Advertising campaigns? Nothing, not very visible.

5: Stupid decisions on software
Holy FSM ... How is it possible to launch a tablet without applications of email, calendar or agenda? Okay, I accept that not launch these applications for one or two months of its launch, but more than six months of the launch of BlackBerry PlayBook still not save when they need a BlackBerry smartphone emails to respond.

6: Dependence on BlackBerry
No doubt RIM BlackBerrys has sold millions worldwide, but not everyone has one. Not everyone wants an iPhone but have an iPhone, or not everyone has an Android phone and has a tablet with Android. For the same reason that people do not have a BlackBerry, many millions of potential buyers, do not buy a Kodak klic-7002
battery
.

And yet, watch reports, stories and post you can read about "the end BlackBerry." BlackBerry's death is highly exaggerated, no doubt that in some countries begin to decline, practical example is the U.S., but when you have countries in Asia, Latin America or more recently in Spain and the UK with a sales boom, no one can speak of "death." The first attempt by BlackBerry tablet has failed. Less tears to the second generation.
