Hutschenreuther Created from imagination, style, good taste and refinement: That's Medley. An exciting interplay of colours and patterns in perfect harmony. Creates unmistakably creative table settings. Medley Valdemossa Hutschenreuther is an import pattern and is not normally stocked in Canada. If we do not have the pieces you are currently looking for in stock, ordering time for this pattern normally takes 2-6 months to arrive at our store from the factory overseas. These special order pieces are non-cancellable and require a 50% deposit at the time the order is placed.

In 1814 Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther founded one of the first private porcelain factories in Hohenberg, Germany. His son, Lorenze Hutschenreuther, opened another porcelain factory in 1857 in another German city, Selb. (Selb would eventually become a center for porcelain manufacturing in Germany much like Limoges in France and Staffordshire in England.) The two Hutschenreuther companies were owned separately by father and son, and were completely independent of one another.

In fact, they competed against one another in the business of producing ...
... fine porcelain until 1969 when a merger of the two companies took place. The resulting company was named Hutschenreuther A.G., which continues to manufacture porcelain today. The Hutschenreuther factories have produced dinner services, figurines, gift accessories and crystal items. A new variation on Hutschenreuther's Medley china theme, Alfabia has softly scalloped edges and features deep rim plates, conveying a hearty, rustic look. The material flatters the senses the eyes by its gentle, refined sheen; the hands by the silky smoothness and warmth, that begs the touch.

The Hutschenreuther porcelain company was started in 1814 by Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther in the Bavarian town of Hohenburg. In 1857 his son, Lorenz, opened another porcelain company in Selb. The two companies were independent of each other and in competition until 1969, when Hutchenreuther of Hohenberg was purchased by Hutchenreuther of Selb. The resulting company is still in business today and produces dinnerware, ornaments and figurines. Please purchase on online www.etabletop.com
