International Horticultural Exposition is a professional exhibition event approved by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH). It was first held in Rotterdam, Holland in 1960 and has been held more than 20 times.

From April 28th – October 22nd, 2011, International Horticultural Exposition has been opened in Xian Chan-ba Ecological District. This was the international exposition of the highest standard and largest scale ever in Xian, Shaanxi Province even in the Northwest region of China.

The theme of 2011 Xian International Horticultural Exposition is “Eternal peace & harmony between nature & mankind, nurturing the future earth-a city for nature, co-existing in peace”. The duration is 178 days, site area is 418 hectares including 188 hectares water area. We will be expecting over 100 cities and organizations and greater than 12 million tourists from both home and abroad.
